DAZZLING lights, fancy frocks and sensational suits were all the rage at the London Grosvenor hotel on Friday night, as Liverpool’s finest joined Jenny Bond at the hub of all the action.

Bringing home the ‘Best Merseyside Development Award’ for it’s Westminster Chambers scheme, SPACE Developments -  part of the McInerney Group - demonstrated Liverpool’s unbeatable style and class when it comes to architectural wonders of the North.

Judges at ‘The Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2006’ were clearly impressed by the Grade ll listed building and SPACE’s sensitive refurbishment.

Ian Smith, Managing Director of SPACE Developments, accepted the award from Jenny Bond, commenting: “We are proud to be winners of this prestigious award for Westminster Chambers. It proves that every aspect of the development - from its location to its superb gothic architecture and our sensitive refurbishment of the building - is of outstanding class.

“Being based in the heart of Liverpool’s thriving commercial quarter, we appreciate that the architecture in the city is of a world class standard, with more listed buildings than any city outside London. To be cream of the crop in this category is an achievement in itself.

“We are confident that SPACE Developments will continue to be recognised for its inspired conversion of Westminster Chambers and for its future development schemes”.

Having just launched its fourth and final phase with the new ‘Atrium’ show apartment, SPACE Developments is once again providing a haven for city centre living, with the quality style and finish for which it is renowned. The Westminster Chambers conversion cleverly combines old with new yet has maintained its cultural heritage differentiating it from other developments in the city.

Westminster Chambers will eventually feature 62 stylish, high quality apartments with starting prices of £129,995 for a one-bedroom apartment and £169,995 for a two bedroom apartment. There are only 20 units remaining within this prestigious development which will be completed by November 2006.
