The art of city living

Mixing original art with city living, some of Liverpool’s finest artists displayed their work to the public at the launch of Westminster Chambers second show apartment.

Gracing the walls and floors of SPACE Developments’ latest project, the artists recently wowed lunchtime home hunters with their fabulous displays of gothic and mosaic artwork as well as fashion accessories and handbags.

Handbag designer, Nina Halliwell from Nook & Willow says: “We are really excited to have had the opportunity to showcase our range in such stunning environment. Our products, which are very unique and handmade, appeal to the kind of person who thrives on city centre living. Taking part in this exhibition has been a great way to access our target market.”

Seventeen-year-old artist Michael Fletcher says: “It is great when a well established company in Liverpool, like SPACE Developments, show interest in supporting unseen, unknown talent. As a young, up and coming artist, it has provided the opportunity for my work to be seen and noticed by the public.”

Michael is currently studying art at college, but in his spare time he works on various projects. For hi display at Westminster Chambers, he chose to create a series of gothic artwork to tie in with the gothic feel to the building. 

The launch of the new show home coincides with the launch of Westminster Chambers phase four ‘Atrium’ apartments – providing 17 stylish, high quality duplex homes.

Home hunters can see the exhibition from 10.30am – 5pm Tuesday – Friday at Westminster Chambers.
